Very weird sounding 2T22, Winona, MN

It has a very tinny sound, and an extremely slow wind-down. As it was said in the comments, it sounds like both of the intakes could be blocked.

Yeah, I have to agree there. Those intakes seem to be blocked. Very very muffled sound emitted from that.

There are probably bird's nests in both of the intakes. That siren probably wasn't very loud.

I would bet it is MUD Daubers and there is probably a hornet nest in both ends the slow wind down is caused because of the blocked openings it will not do this if both end are open.

That thing sounds awful when it first winds down.
Nice to know we are not the only ones afflicted by mud daubers.

There's also a mud dauber problem in Pine Knob, KY, so if I decide to go with a 2T22 for there, I'll have to keep an eye on those intakes.
Can mud daubers also negatively effect a Thunderbolt?

Mud daubers can affect anything that has a hole in it. They love to build nests in things that are complicated and delicate, such as air tools, carburetors, fan motors, centrifugal switches, ventillation holes in power tools, and probably people if they would stand still long enough.
