I wondered about that, but it's the exact same pitch as a 2001. There's likely someone on this board who can tell us what sirens are near Wrigley Field.

I like the wail on that siren better than the wail on most other sirens like it. Because it goes down to a lower pitch than usual, the sound can cary further. Is that a custom tone?

Chicago is and pretty much always has been solely Federal Signal. They finished replacing all the Thunderbolts a while back and replaced them with 2001's and Modulators. No EOWS and no DSA. If memory serves me correctly, there is a 2001 right next to Wrigley.

And in the second link, I'm almost positive that is the 2001. The 2001 near my house went off in fast wail last night and sounded just like that...even more eerie than Alert or Wail!

Here's a video from my house, looking out my front door. Siren heard is a 2001. Please excuse me and my family in the background. The power was out, everyone was up, and I was getting a little worried.
