I think I know where that siren might be located. After reading the replies, they said it was on the Kansas side, so this is much likely near by the Kansas River towards the north eastern side of town if I am not mistaken. Older part of KC, lots of industrial buildings in that area.

Wow! That camera was too close! The sound was a but distorted and it was loud to where I nearly fell back in my chair.

That's not a 3T22, it's a 2T22. And it's behind the Shawnee City Hall.

Shawnee still has xt22 series sirens? Thought those were all phased out, and all that are left would be the Thunderbolts... with 2001's here and there. :?

Yes sir this is behind the shawnee city hall. Ive always wondered what this siren sounded like. If your driving on johnson drive in front of the courthouse youll never see it unless you pay close attention. In my video's you can hear 1 or 2 xt22's. Here is one at 75th and Nieman this was the 1st siren video I ever recorded and it has part of the thunderbolt at 67th and nieman at nieman school

Always good to see siren videos from Kansas. I remeber going past that and seeing solnoids...was I seeing things?
