Washtenaw County Outdoor Warning Sirens: August, 2008

Here is a look at current sirens in Washtenaw County, Michigan. Most of the sirens on this map are Federal 2001s, including several new 2001-130s. However, there are some exceptions:

Augusta Twp: Federal Model 5B

Village of Dexter: Two WPS-4004s

Chelsea: Two very early Federal Model 5s. The one on the Police station was purchased in 1932.

Manchester: 2T22 (Used for fire call-outs, and tornado warnings).
