Hawaii Sirens

Going through the Jmarcoz siren Archive I saw that some of the cities in Hawaii have air raid sirens (T-bolt, SD-10).And they have a few of theseImage.

Yeah.

But instead of them being used for air raids, they are used for tsunami warnings. Being in the center of the Ring of Fire makes them a perfect canidate for being hit by a major tsunami.

I saw the one in Kihei, Maui when i was there back in May 2000. I dont
remember it well, but i believe i took a picture.
