There are pictures on civildefensemuseum.com, and 2 videos on wisconsinsirens.com.
If your siren is a-failin'
Chances are that it's a Whelen
And if it's just about to die
Then it must be an ATI

There is a picture of a square horned Hurricane, the only one we know
of so far, but i am unsure of where it is.

it is on a Telecommunications tower in Centralia, Illinois.

Ahhhh...the Hurricane 130. Last I heard on the old board, it was inactive and just sitting up there. It would make a neat restoration! 8) 8)

Yeah, the Telecom company that owns the tower wont let the city
access it. So there is really no chance whatsoever getting it down.
It will just sit there till it falls apart...

IIRC, Square Horned Hurricanes and the more common MKIIs do not
sound the same. correct me if i'm wrong.

As for opperation, it looks like it has enough room to rotate properly.

As for the guts, there are pics of an MKII (round horn), but snce this
is the first one anyone has discovered, there are no pics of the inside.

There is already a recent topic discussing this matter. A simple search can bring this up.
