It's on the eastern fringes of Monroe near the flea markets and outlet mall. Take 75 north to the Route 63 exit, turn left, then turn right on North Garver Road and it'll be on the left just south of the railroad. https://goo.gl/maps/4bS8jsErgwo

Photos from driving around today. Nothing really special about these, but I don't know that anyone has posted them before.
Newtown T-128 #2 replaced a Werden P-127.

Where exactly is that 2001 near Milford? It's gotta be in one of the townships.

Both Newtown T-128s replaced P-127s. One next to a church, and one on top of the clubhouse at the Ivy Hills Country Club.

There's actually a third T-128 in the northern part of Newtown.

The picture needs to be uploaded to a website such as Photobucket. If you do that, copy the IMG code next to the picture and paste it here.

It appears the guy-wires used to hold the head in position gave away amid high wind. Unfortunately, the big blower was not enough to hold back the rest of the siren when it took a dive. These Thunderbolts were always a balancing act and this is a fine example of what happens when things go wrong.

Ah, the old Elmwood Place Thunderbolt. I find it kind of amazing how it survived the Hurricane Ike winds in 2008, but not the winds we were having on Saturday.
