Microsoft's New "Windows Live" earth-imaging service is actually a lot more detailed for my area. Yahoo's service is too, compared to Google Earth. Anyway, quite a few images from Google Earth have been posted on the old board of sirens.

You know, I still wish that It'd zoom in to Hemau, Germany, the place where I lived blocks from the siren that started my interest in sirens in general.

I've looked for sirens in Google Earth and Windows Live Local before. It's easier to see the sirens using the latter through the "Bird's Eye View" function.

You do have to know about general location of the siren you're hunting for so you can at least get the right streets on the map then look around that area.

Here's a pic of the location of my first siren; the Federal 500T on the corner of Summit Ave in East LA

Here is an aerial view of the (now famous) H?rmann HLS siren located in Darmstadt. It is located in a block of flats on the northwest corner of Mornewegstraβe and Feldbergstraβe.

I found this a while ago. I like the nice shadow cast by the T-135.

Finally, I've got the pictures from Hemau!!

It is a great experience to see something that you have not seen in about eight or nine years!

This picture has two circles; the lighter circle is of the E57, while the heavier circle is of the place that I lived in then.

Here is the E57.

I've been able to track down some T-128's based on Brent Wilcox's images (Is he still around???!!), but I lost the placemarks to them. If I find them again, Ill post their GPS co-ords.
