I located Blue Valley Public Safety (509 James Rollo Dr, Grain Valley, Mo, 64029) on Microsoft Virtual Earth and in their back lot they have at least 20 t-bolts laying on the ground...many of them still attached to poles. Also seen a couple Xt22's. I am going to try to get out there this afternoon and get some pics of them. It appears they also have 4 t-bolts in a row also (in the ground) but do not know if they actually function or are just for display...this is quite an awesome find! Dont know if they are used for parts or are just ones that were traded out for new ones...if anyone knows about BVPS let me know! -johnny :D

....West Shore Fire beats them out though, they literally have hundreds of new and used sirens in their lot though:

I imagine some of Shawnee County's old sirens are laying around in that lot.

What model 2001 is that sitting there? I can tell it's an AC, DC, or SRN because the rotator box is a rectangle.

Good lord! That is in Missouri, correct?
I may have to head up there sometime and get some of those, Dickson needs some sirens and I'm sure the guys down here in Dickson would appreciate me doing that. Any idea on whether they are selling them for a good price or what?

Charlie, Blue Valley sells their sirens at about the same price as West Shore, which is overpriced ($1200 for a used model 2 when a new one is $1800).

Yie, well still, IMO it's worth a shot, since basically I won't be paying for the sirens, the city/ounty will.

I'm pretty sure it's an SRN-B.

Anyways, that cluster of Thunderbolts is just unbelievable!

I tried to scope out West Shore Services a few months ago on Google Maps, but they didn't have any satellite close ups of that area. :(
