Specs on Federal 2T22 and SiraTone 1212

Tue May 19, 2009 10:07 pm

I just wondered, does anyone know basic specs (Ht., wt., tone pitches, etc.) for these two Federals?

Here's the manual for the Federal EOWS series: http://davidsonfirealarms.calvinet.com/ ... Manual.pdf

Hope this helps you out. Somewhere in there it tells the frequency of the EOWS siren, you just need to read through it. Pretty interesting siren to say the least!

Looking for a manual? I probably have it here: SirenManuals.com

2t22
10 hp. three-phase is 208-240/480 Volts
Cones total 110 lbs.
Lifting the body, intake tubes detached, felt like 300 lbs.

Pitches at 3,450 rpm:
10 port stator = 575Hz = D5 pitch
12 port stator = 675Hz = F5
perfect minor third musical interval creates a 100Hz resultant = B-flat 2.

About 8+ feet tall. (I'm 6 ft. - Lieutenant says he didn't know manure could be stacked that high!)
