The Siren Board

Hey guys, I was at my cousins yesterday for a graduation party. He had this small siren in his garage, so I asked about it. He said that it came off a truck that he owned at one time. He said that if I wanted it, I could have it. SCORE! We got out a boat battery, hooked it up, rain right up to full speed. Loud as hell, sounded like a Q. The only problem is that there is no ID tag. Besides that, it juust needs to be wire brushed to get all the rust off. Then were good to go. Here's a picture, I really hope you guys could help me ID it. ( I want to join the club of people who have the "Proud owner" in thier sigs!)

looks like a Federal style motor. Model 66, maybe?

Here's one more. I think the ID tag goes here.

You can tell by the base, it is a model 28. The ID tag would have been mounted on the brush cover

high-current relay. it's actually an old, early-'70s Ford starter solenoid.

Great, thank you very much. Keep an eye on this thread as I work on the siren.

Alright guys, I dropped the siren off at my Grandpa's house, he's going to wire brush it and paint it Fire Engine Red for me. Stay tuned!
