Was up close & personal with a 2001 today. Now to the pics!
We start with a far shot froHillcrest Highschool.
The whole setup.
Boxes, transformer, and power switch.
2001 TR.
This is a 2001 DC. I thought this was a SRN?
The loud part. This thing is BIG up close.
Final shot. This turned out really cool.
That's all she wrote. 8)

That definetly looks to be an SRN. I think it only says 2001DC on that box, because it has a DC motor. I've been up close to an SRN near me, and it said 2001DC on the controller.

That is in fact a 2001DC. It has the older style boxes and larger rear intake housing.

*sigh*
2001-SRN was the siren head itself (superseded by the -SRNB, which was in turn superseded by the -130.) the siren head/motors are the same no matter what configuration. 2001DC, 2001AC, and 2001TR all refer to the power and control hardware.
there is absolutely no difference in the noisemaking parts for a -DC or -AC siren.

Very cool pictures, and it's the same for you as it was for me. When I saw the 2001 in Lincoln City, OR I was very surprised on their size.
