Thing is it has the 'roughness' of a Model 5, but winds up at the same speed and hits the same pitch as a Model D.
EDIT: Ian Murr pointed me to Jeb's Little Giant video, and we have a match!

It doesn't sound as high pitched or as sharp as my Little Giant.

I've never seen/heard that one before. That's a beautiful area, around Ottawa. I've been wanting to go back for a while.

Yeah, when we used to live by there,me and my dad would go to watch trains cross the bridge, and when they would put the bridge down that siren would go off.But that was before I got into sirens...

It's a model L (or derivative).

Why does it have the roughness of a 5 though?

It doesn't. It's a Model L. That's what it sounds like, because that's what it is.
