Words do not even begin to describe how loud this monster is...
It's so loud, my Dad said he couldn't stand it 100' away, rattled his chest.
It sounds a bit sharper than a normal 1000, but that may be the proximity of the camera, or the amount of air I'm pushing. It's a lot, but not quite up there with a normal blower.
I like your vacuum blower Eric, lots of volume with almost no power, I could run this thing off a battery bank and an inverter!!

2001 sounds like it is about a quarter mile away. Nice sounding Thunderbolt however.

The 2001's about 2 blocks away right next to a school. The thing that strikes me is how little air it takes to get one of these loud! My Dad is used to loud stuff too, he used to work on Pratt & Whitney JT3-D's.

great thunderbolt siren seems to be in great condition , exept for that hiccup

yeah, any little bit of boost you can give them really ups the sound output. I remember JasonC's video of his 1003, running it w/o the blower, and as he just loped the blower pulley over by hand it made it noticeably louder.
