This siren was taken out of Service (Date Unknown) & was simply put on the Ground.
The siren that replaced it is an Federal Signal Corporation 2001 SRN*B.
Siren has been declared Surplus from what Im told by the city.

Interesting how it says "Allertor siren type II".

Looks like it's in good shape.

Is it a 9/12 port or 10/12? My guess it's 9/12....

Yes the Allertor has been out of Service for a couple of years now.

I really couldn't tell you, I know little about Allertors but I'd prob say standard choppy, though I could be wrong

Definitely looks like 9/12. Notice the angled chopper blades.

This is also a later Allertor. No Allertors from 70's onwards were 10/12.

They were also made as 8/12 and 8 ports, but I would think this one is very unlikely to be an 8/12 port.
