Went on a business trip (with my dad) and found some sirens on the trip! Our destination was Cumming, GA to inspect some outside walls on the local AMC Theater.

Here's what I found:

Cherokee County, GA (About 60 2001-DC's and 2001-SRN's)
Elementary School - 2001-SRN with updated controls

Forsyth County (Cumming, GA) (ATI HPSS16R's and a Whelen 2800)
Water Tower (right outside Downtown) - Whelen 2800 Series

Dawson County (Around 6 Master Blasters :?: )
City of Dawsonville, GA Water Tower - Master Blaster?

Enjoy!

Is that a Master Blaster I see on that Dawsonville water tower?

My niece lives in Cumming. I've never seen any sirens when I've gone to her house. The ATI looks interesting. Wouldn't that cable eventually wear out/break from the siren's oscillation?

I've seen some of the 2001s in Cherokee County; know that they have a system of them. A couple of times I've come back to Nashville from Cumming. I took a back route through part of Cherokee County(then got in the interstate at Cartersville); last time I did that I saw 2 or 3 of the 2001s.

A few years ago friends and I had dinner at O'Charley's in Woodstock. I saw one of the 2001s just a couple blocks down the road from there.

The cables will probably eventually wear out or get ripped out. That's ATI's poor designing for you ;)

Cherokee County has tons of 2001's. We actually seen 7 of them on the way through, but since they were all the exact same type (and due to time limitations) I decided to take a picture of just one.

I really like the Whelen on the Cumming water tower. That's something I've never seen before, but makes perfect sense. Cool pictures!

Great pics, Charlie! I'll probably say that the siren on the Dawsonville water-tower is a Master Blaster, though I remember the MB horns looking a tad bit longer.
