Gil is right...

A 2T22 isn't an upgrade because they would all be at least 20 years old.

My town bought 2 2T22s about a year ago, calling it an "upgrade" but its not when battery power is available (as well as other features).

You will probably be getting Eclipses, Sentrys, T-112s/121s or maybe even Whelens or MODs.

My sis is stationed with the USAF and she does siren installations, Maybe the 2800's are only on base??

(yawn) I'd take a 2T22 over anything else any day of the week. The fact that there are still 2T22s around only shows that they really are reliable sirens with a lot of life in them.

Omnis...I would either get a Federal Eclipse 8 or a Sentry 20v2T.

2t22sound fantastic witheir minor third tones.

Buthey are heavy amperageither single or three-phase.

Does the FedSig 2001 come in dual-tone?

Would that be closesto a 2t22?
Plus, it can be completely solar-powered and therefore independent.

Hope they don't acquirelectronicounterfeits.
