I think that would be an awesome place to work. Great Pictures! I have never seen how many of Federals new sirens are assembled. Thanks for sharing! 8)

It really seemed like they had the HQ sirens kitted out with everything on there! What was all that stuff on the poles? I presume it was just examples of accessories available for each siren.

Those build-up pics of the 2001 are pretty interesting.
Looks like the start of a Thunderbolt head build-up.
There are still a good deal of Thunderbolt originated parts there.

The horn design of the Modulator looks really interesting. It's funny how utterly simple the rotation-mechanism for the 2001 is, yet it wasn't introduced on the Thunderbolt.

Probably didn't think of it back then. ;)

Awesome photos, Dj! :) Really gives you a size comparison between you and the siren.

the series B Thunderbolt had a direct-drive rotator, which is why the chopper tube is offset to one side of the rotator box.

If they had kept the direct drive rotator and ditched the crappy c-face motor they used for b series choppers, they would have had a winning combo for the c series thunderbolt.
