It is neat how you can see the rotor spinning towards the end. Great video.

Super sweet, and green too. A winning combo!!
If it had a purple pole, it could be the incredible allertor.

Green? Calvin Really has a color-blindness issue. I know I can't tell green from brown, and blue from violet. But I didn't know I had problems between green and light blue. :?

Thanks to everyone for all the kind words. Here's some pictures I took of it both before and after the test. In person, one would definitely describe the color as pastel green.

Sounds like a 15 HP unit.

Love the echo at the beginning of the wind-down!

Is it just me, or does it start up a little slower than usual for a 15 HP Allertor?

My first car was a 1972 Datsun 510 that was almost this same color. I called it "snot green" and the restroom stalls in my junior high were also this color. Not my favorite color, but a great recording!

I think the pitch would indicate that it's likely 15hp, but it also seems to be single phase. You can hear the capacitors click before it winds up.
