Hello, this is my first main run of my 1950's Canadian Model 2. This siren is running off 110V and is alot louder in person. I took a chance sounding it because I knew it would be loud and my whole street must of heard it. The last thing I would need is the police at my door.

The next time I sound it i'll take it up to my cottage. Hope you enjoy!

Nice.
First time seeing an Upside down model 2
I'm sure someone will chime in, but I wonder why they wanted it made that way?

Could the design have to do with the colder northern climates? The motor seems like it would be a better shield against rotor ice formation/less prone to freezing.

It was to address snow/ice accumulation. How it works exactly I'm not sure.
