There are a lot of 3 phase motors, how do or can you power them? generator, 3 phase converter or have the motors rewound to single phase.

How much did the trailer rental cost for the day? I may need to rent one soon... Its pretty cool that you got 3 xt22s. They're my favorite siren series. Did you take all the ones that West Shore Had?

Joe, How do you know for sure that your 2 2t22's are from the 1950's since there is no date of manufacture to be found on the id tag? I couldn't find one on either of mine .I kinda of thought that the 2t22 wasn't developed until the early to mid sixties.....

How are you going to replace a 3t22 motor with a thunderbeam motor? Thunderbeams and STH-10s use 7 1/2 horsepower single shaft motors. 3t22s use 10 horsepower dual shaft motors.
Have: A-4 Vibratone bell, Model 60 klaxon.

The last two digits in the serial number indicate the year of manufacture.

Federal didn't use dates in the serial numbers until later on. And most Federal sirens of this type have interchangeable rotors/stators/motors. Correct me if I am wrong anyone.
Kicking it in the siren party since '08

I don't have sirens that are extremely old, so I can't say much about the serial numbers.

They are not interchangeable across models.
