Wow!
Nice video, Q. Your daughter?
And nice siren.
(We're hearing 2-second snips at a time as it is downloading on dial-up.)

Immediately I could hear that it is two-toned?
Are the tones a major second apart? Example: C & D.
What is the port ratio? 9/8?

Now that more video appears, (I like your close up), how will you protect it from tire splash?
Can't you mount it in a more protected area not in line with the tire?

Thanks,

no, my niece, I love the sound too! Yes 8/9.

I thought abouth that but the motor is real rusted. Looks like it was mounted similar before. In fact the previous owner said it was mounted to a mac under the front end.

The tire is behind the siren so i figuer most splash will be directed back.

I love the sound but i want a Q.
Q2B or not 2B that is the question.

Are you a volunteer firefighter? I wonder how it would be going down the road with a siren that sounds like an air-raid siren.

Yes, but some will still fling forward right into your stator.

If you could mount the siren in the middle of the bumper, perhaps motor up where it could fit, that would be nice.
But then, maybe the stator would be too low and susceptable to damage.

I know you will protect that siren, otherwise you will have to be punished.
(Forced to listen to an Omega in "Looney Tones" mode.)

Another truck had a B&M Sirenodrift. He was very stingy with that siren!

I have another Video of an old federal C-4, i thinl? Is that the lowpitched one?
