Sweet! The 10/12 port Allertor is the best sounding siren that ACA ever made in my oppinion. This could very well be the only one of it's kind still in service. The Attack signal sounds awesome!

Does White Bear Lake have any other Allertors?

I saw another Allertor on the corner of County F and Highway 61 in White Bear Lake as well. I have not inspected it completely as it's behind an old car dealership, but it doesn't look functional. I'm going to have to try and record that one next month. Luck might have it that if it is functional, it's probably a 10/12 ratio too.

EDIT: I took a midnight bike ride to go and inspect the siren behind the car dealership. Its box says it's ON, so I'll get ready to record this thing next month.

Very healthy sounding siren, it is neat to hear the more unsual 10/12, though I prefer the 9/12 on an Allertor, but that is just my opinion.

How close is the Allertor you recorded today to the one behind the car dealer? If they're close enough to each other, you could get between them and get a nice ambiance.

The two Allertors are a little more than a mile apart. I'd probably be able to hear the T'bolt from city hall pretty good, but I don't know about the Allertors specifically.

I know I already posted in the other thread, but holy crap that's amazing. I didn't know if there were any 10/12 Allertors still in service anywhere, so I'm very happy to see this. They are absolutely, positively my favorite sirens ever.
