Sure looks like hearing protection was a last minuet suggestion.

Is that even a siren? Looking at the truck it's on, I get the idea those may be something other than choppers.

This looks completely different than the other siren that was pictured. The previous photo, showed a siren that had a round projector, much like a gigantic version of a Model 500 but significantly larger in diameter. The siren in this photo I have never seen before, but I will bet you its a prototype of some sort, but I wonder who manufactured it? Somehow, I seem to believe this is a Federal Engineering product.

Those look like some large rotors, too! They look to be about 25 inches tall.

Because machines that large are always ridiculously loud
Nah, it's probably a siren; I think I can barely make out stator holes on the top rotor. Also, the guy on the far left walking by doesn't seem bothered at all (!).
