I have heard the 1003 in Somerset is still active for weather. The one outside of town is out of commision as you stated. Not sure if that's true or not though

Altoona siren locations, air raid and fire, past and present. Had a LOT of help from the "You know you're from Altoona when..." group on facebook. Several thousand people are members of the group, mostly adults age 40 and over. I found out about a lot of former locations I never knew about before.

It's still not complete. There are a few obvious coverage gaps that I haven't been able to gather any information about, but the majority are listed.
