Will there ever be siren louder than the Victory?

Does anyone think that someone will invent a siren that is louder than the Victory siren?

My guess is no. There wouldn't be a demand for one.

Building a louder siren would be a straightforward task, though.

There was that seaside siren, the big, red one to signal distant ships if the lighthouse is undetectable through fog or other obstructions. That siren was said to produce (140) Decibels at a hundred feet away. The siren has a huge rotating horn.

Two horn-loaded Community M4 drivers were able to produce up to 153dB at one meter, but it would take four M4 horn-loaded to produce 135dB at 100'.
Say NO to excessive siren testing - overtesting desensitizes the public.
Say NO to voice siren systems - multiple origins = unintelligible audio.

The cost probably increases much faster per dB gain.

Also, better to have more sirens with less range than fewer with greater range.
