cool! I used the map of yours to help me find this siren lol.
That map is 3 years in the making and still not complete. I am glad it has helped bring attention to a few of these.

Re: some sort of Denver siren

Sorry for the bump, it's more of a rebrand, not a knockoff. Sterling accually produced these before the model M was introduced in the late 1910s Do you have anything to actually back up that claim? Sterling, known as Interstate Machine Products at the time, began producing these in 1916. Heavily ba...

Re: Denver duplex motor (help)

Let me know if you need any further information on the siren. I have a Quadruplex apart in my shop waiting for funds to send it to a machine shop. I have done an absurd amount of research on these sirens and man who invented them. I also have a highly detailed map of every known unit to exist and th...

Re: Denver duplex motor (help)

Pretty sure this is a kid blowing smoke....last time I spoke with the fire department, there were no plans to restore this. It was decided to make it a static display and leave it at that. The reason the siren ran for 2 hours was most likely due to water infiltration in the motor. It ran until powe...

Re: Every Siren Model in Existence

There was also a Center driven Denver Duplex and a 2hp vertical siren the same company sold under the name "Boxco" that could either be suspended upsidedown in a belfrey or mounted the traditional way.

Re: New Member, and my Sirens

Welcome from Michigan. My 1917 Denver Quadruplex siren actually came from Albertson, NC. It will hopefully make its first run since 2016 next year.

Re: Early Sterling sirens that resembled Denvers

:D Could that possibly be a prototype Quadruplex, just adding on shrouds simmilar to that of a Sterlng M?? Or possibly a prototype to the M series Both wrong. It's called a Super Quad, a 12-horsepower siren fire alarm, a variant of the model M. It has four rotors unlike most sirens. It's very rare ...

Yeah, honestly, until the admins stop allowing bull like this to be posted, I'm done here. All you kids do is lie and make stuff up. None of this crap would have been allowed in the old days.

Re: ACA hurricane siren map (more locations + info needed)

???? There is a select group of "kiddies" who think found images are their property, and refuse to share with the rest of the community. They'll keep them private for years, for no reason other than "I have something you don't have". It's atrocious behavior, and unfortunately an...
