Re: Soundmaster 115 Taycheedah, WI

How is the mechanisms operated? Is it just an electromagnet or some kind of motor driving a cam like they did on the ACA Cyclone?

Re: Sarnia, Ontario Tbolt 1003

Is this your video, or did you just find it? If you found it, I suggest not posting it.... I'm not a mod, but truth be told, if every new siren video found was posted, it would be a zoo in this part of the forums. :P But nice video find anyway :P Model2 has been here way longer than you so I think ...

First thing I thought was "Oh God, another over speed single phase 3T22". Boy was I wrong! She sounds beautiful.

Re: White 2T22 - Alert

This is one thing I don't really understand with a 2T22. How can the intake get plugged if there are two screens protecting that intake. Even my 3T22 came with a screen that went around the intake underneath the "dome" cover and then another screen covering the opening of the intake horizo...

By code and NFPA, all things in the electrical trade must have a U...

Sauk Prairie Power Equipment 9/4/15

I had the great privilege to go visit Bill Nagler owner of Red Arrow Siren Service and Sauk Prairie Power equipment on Friday. I've been talking with him on the phone occasionally for about two years now, so I thought it would be great to meet in person. My former electrical college instructor and I...

Re: Federal 3T22B 8pm Blast Monmouth, ME

If you look closely, the 10-port rotor isn't spinning. That's the scraping you're hearing. Must have come loose of the shaft somehow, but i don't see how that would happen. I can hear both the 12 and 10 port rotors. Or maybe it just has some weird undertone to it. That was the word I was looking fo...
