I would have carved siren parts out of wood, but my dad has to find all the tools buried in the garage, and it's a pain in the rear, really

Also, I found this youtube video where the rotor and stator were really far apart, like 1 inch, and it still sounded decent. So sirens aren't that finicky

I found out that a teacher at my school has a 3D printer, and I can use it for $4 a cubic inch, but I'm a total noob with 3d modelling programs like sketchup.
