Looks to me like it got flooded out about half way up inside the box.

It is a 5/6 but the previous group said they had it wired 3 phase.

Sorry, then is it a 1000T or AT? Is the difference determined by the controller or by a physical difference in the siren?

It was in use as of 30 days ago at a fire dept so based on what I am seeing the exterior is the worst of it and the rcm needs a good cleaning out. They said they only had known it as a single tone and sold it as such for less than a NYC parking ticket too....

I am going to try this again but adding two pics crashed me. After being gently encouraged I decided to attack it with a can of pb Blaster and what are now 3/5 swollen knuckles. 3 hex heads came out nice and easy.. 1 will be engraved on my tombstone. They cut the pipe and left it attached so that's going to be a project for another day.
