Re: NEED HELP: Every Model X in Existence Map

There was a Federal Signal Model 3 of some sort in Germany, however I do not know of it's location. Video link; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-0gB9sE2Nk

Re: The death of the ACA Howler, And a call for action

Honestly to my perspective a 130 Decibel 2001 siren is way too overkill for such a town. If there is already a 2001 there, despite being a fairly old model by now that covers the entire town, why not go with a smaller, omnidirectional siren like a T-121 or an Eclipse 8? That would be more cost effic...

Re: Every Siren Model in Existence

Wow. I have seriously no words for the amount of dedication one must have endured to make such a list! I doubt there could be any other sirens missing on here except extinct models! Huge congratulations to you man! I do have a question concerning the old Hoffman Estates Single tone “Allertor 130”. W...

Re: is This A Possible ACA Hurricane MK1 At An Unknown Location?

I’m pretty sure that’s a Whelen siren. Mark 1s had way longer horn shapes and were usually longer than that. Plus the horn almost looks squashed down from that angle. It looks pretty tapered like a WPS of various sorts, so i’d say that’s a Whelen siren. Plus i don’t think MK1s ever came from the fac...

Re: federal signal model 2 chopper size

I mean i you're going to 3D print an entire Model 2 it'd probably be best making the housing out of metal. Plastic does not tend to the elements kindly if you're going to be mounting it somewhere outside.

Re: Is there any American Siren in Brazil?

I'm currently situated in Germany, and to be fair i have seen a few American sirens from being exported to the country; I'd think there is a few in Brazil. Especially since it's closer to the United States than Germany... so i'd expect there to be a few!

Re: Siren oops! moments

It’s pretty interesting to see how even years ago mistakes were still made, and how much of an impact the Cold War had on people’s well-being and how it was drilled into their heads about a possible nuclear war. He definitely did NOT lean on that button by accident
