Thanks to the others here how have assisted along the way getting this thing to work. I had a plan to get everything in working order before stripping it and painting and I stuck to it. Now comes what I hope will be the easy part lol

It'll be interesting to see the difference when running the assembled blower with the convertor. Running just the motor unloaded with the convertor is a whole different deal.

Yeah I gotta get the standpipe off the frame so I can paint it and get it all back together. Ian and I were actually talking about that the other night. I want to paint it so I can put it on and leave it together, that crap is too heavy to be taking it on and off.

I have only seen two green Thunderbolts in my lifetime. There was a town in the Chicago area that painted their 1000ATs Forest Green, so they would blend in with the trees. I believe it was in the Homewood area. As they aged, the weathering process made the green turn a lighter hue.

Personally, I think Lime Green would be awesome. Maybe paint the screen on the projector black so it would contrast with the horn?
