Aah, my favorite siren (sound-wise) being made today. See if you can get a video of that monster.
What happened when Napoleon went to Mt. Olive? Popeye got pissed.

I just wonder how it did 15/10 port with only 10 horns.
I own some electric motors. Not any sirens yet.

On the top row, there are 3 ports per horn, while on the bottom row there are 2 ports per horn

So on a 20V2T the top row is 2 ports in each horn, the bottom: 1 in each horn? I already know the port ratio though. (16/8 port)

Sentry sirens use projectors, they aren't really horns. They aren't as efficient as exponential horns are at projecting sound outwards, but they are cheaper to make and they still do a better job than skirts or just open ports do. Sentry offers skirts though, for areas like factories that want to keep the sound within their area.

For anyone who is wondering, the 40v2t is 6 feet tall and weighs over 800 pounds. It's HUGE.

I heard that the early 80s models had square horns.

There were like, 50 20V2T's made with square horns, but because of either cost or how much labor i took to make them, they went back to the round horns. I'll post a link here in a minute showing one, that unfortunately does not sound.
