Mini Sirens You've Made or Have

This topic is so we can discuss mini sirens us enthusiasts that have no room or money for a real siren have made. Description and pictures are required, but you can also add what it's based off of and the story of it's life.

I've made one and constantly upgraded it, the most notable change being the change from rotational to omnidirectional, then to add paper plates with the middles cut out, covered in Duct tape to act as louvers. It's about 15 inches tall, and 9 inches across. This makes it a 1/2 scale Fedelcode Model 2.

The siren is very portable, and weighs maybe a pound or so. It runs on an MP3 player to provide all the tones, and music when I want to use it as a stereo system (which works very well)

You and I are the same age and are equivalent. You don't have to be that way all the time you know. If you cleaned up your act, maybe somebody would like you for once.

I made a small siren out of computer fans, I mainly was experimenting to see if a chopper and stator could be flat, as well as if a siren could operate 'backwards', i.e. the stator has air sucked through it. Currently I'm on Mk.IV of the design, using two fans and a single stator made from an old CD. The first version used a single fan and a cardstock stator, the second version two fans, and the third version two fans (with cardstock.) It is seven ports. I don't have any pictures of the earliest revisions, unfortunately. In the gallery you can see a Mk.II design, as well as a Mk.III design mounted in a PC power supply. Finally, there is the Mk.IV design mounted vertically over a mesh pen cup with a paper cone, sort of like a non-rotating Thunderbeam, and an old Science Fair electronics kit wired up as a timer.

Kasm & Sirendude - I'd like to see a video of your design. All large sirens started from small models. You might discover some new innovation through your models.
