Ririe is getting a siren again! (Maybe...)

The pitch seems to have peaked around what an STH-10 does, although it had a bit more of a 'bite' like a Sterling M. Maybe it's something to do with horizontal sirens.. Anyway, here are pictures I took of it before being cleaned up, plus some ones I took last night. Sorry for the poor lighting, it was around 18:00 that it went off. I'll try and get the video uploaded tonight, but my ISP's service is extremely unreliable.

Wow, that is really different than mine. I don't have cast projectors or anything.

I agree about bite. It has been a while since I wound up either my B or my M5 (16/16), but I feel like the B is a tad more shrill sounding.

That's the reason that I love the M series, I'm happy to know that the Lion does that too. Although, I wouldn't quite desribe it as a shrill sound, perhaps more of a 'pulsing' sound. I guess I really notice it because the only other siren I've heard up close was the ultra-smooth STH-10.

That "bite" comes from the number of ports. It peaks around an STH-10 due to having an older, high-slip motor but the timbre is different due to the fact that there are more ports, but they are smaller.
