I can solve for you, there was a Chrysler siren at the Warminster Air Weapons station fire department. The whole of Warminster was bulldozed in the 90's, what was the land for the installation is now a business park and a public park. I can confirm that as of 1994 everything was still standing and there was, at the very least, a platform that the Chrysler was on. I can't say for certain whether or not the Chrysler was on it, I saw it from one of the town of Warminster Fire Departments. Either way, it is now long gone... I talked to a person who worked at Willow Grove Naval Air Station and there was no siren there including a Chrysler... so it was for sure Warminster.

I worked there as an electrical engineering student in 1982 and 1983, it was called the Naval Air Development Center (NADC). As I recall the main crash house was on the airfield side of the facility (East of Jacksonville Rd.) but they also housed a structural engine on the R&D side (West of Jacksonville). Do you know which firehouse had the siren? I don't remember seeing it, but probably wouldn't have noticed. I wasn't all that interested in sirens back then.

It was the main crash house for sure, I was just looking at a map.. I was at Warminster Station 90 which is at 300 Madison Ave... and I remember looking east and seeing the platform in the distance. I want to say that the Chrysler was still up but it has been so long (it was actually the year after the Rockies and Marlins came to be). If my memory is correct I would have been looking at the section of the base East of Jacksonville Road.

A Victory Siren may have ended up at Warminster, but in 1973 there was one at NAS Willow Grove in the southeast corner of the field just inside the perimeter road, not terribly far from the firehouse. It was mounted on a rig that would allow it to rotate, but was not upon a tower, and did not look operable without an overhaul.

What is the closest Chrystler Victory Bell that is know to still be standing? Is there one near Philadelphia?
