I'd go and recreate some of Wichita Falls' old system. Install a bunch of Thunderbolts, but for the heck of it make em 1003s plus mix in T-128s with the battery backup that way if the power goes out I've still got siren coverage.

Mine would be WPS 2910s and 4004s, using Gas Proof Protection for tornado, Fast Wail for high wind warnings, Hi-Lo for flood, Air Horn Discont. for wildfire, and Wail for general take cover /military attack. Sirens would be on 52' steel poles, solar powered, and painted red with white screens.

I'd have to be the odd man out and say anything...we don't have any sirens in Oconee County, where I live.

I would have two 5/6 thunderbolts, one CLM, a 3T22B, and a 10/12 port Allertor, along with a 500AT (10/12). If the theoretical 10/12 port Banshee of Mason City is ever found real, I would also use that. Maybe a 500 and STH-10. All painted red, white and blue :D

In a fantasy world: a system made up of dual-tone Thunderbolts - shocking, I know - and a few 500AT sirens. The Tbolts would be set to Chopper Levels 3, 4, and 5 - all different, to create a loud system. They'd all be painted classic CD yellow and would test daily at noon, with a quick growl test. Then, the first Saturday of the month, for 3m Alert/3m Attack at noon. Severe Weather Warnings (which include 70+ mph winds without tornado) would sound the Alert tone for 5m. Actual Tornado Warnings would sound the Attack cycle for 5m.

In a more realistic world (still making this up), probably a system of Sentry 40V2T sirens (since those are the loudest) - painted yellow, and sounding in Attack for everything. Then, at the fire stations, there'd be a red Modulator 8032B - which would be for fire calls (in Alternating Wail tone), as well as for voice messages in emergencies. Tested hourly, with Westminster Chimes.
Viva la Thunderbolt!
