I don't know if anyone knows the ratings, but it is quite loud. There are several videos of it on YouTube.

No, No. That would be louder than the loudest siren, the Chrysler Air Raid, which is 138db @ 100 feet. My best guess would be in between 123-128. It would be about 150 db at 75 feet, so you are kind of right, just wrong distance.


Also, mrboojay, did Kenton County turn on the sirens today? My dad heard some 2001s from Kenton County, or that's what he told me.

HOR Db debate: I says here that it is 125.

I wouldn't consider that to be a reliable source though.
Resident of a county with big a mixture of sirens, but in the process of being replaced. :(

I might've heard some 2001s, but I doubt it. I was in school though, so it would be hard to hear them anyways.
