Hoover, AL (And other cities) "Siren Hunt"

Mon Jul 15, 2013 12:48 am

Went to take some pictures of some sirens today, for the Fedelcode Model 5 in Priceville, I'm talking to the FD about it and I might be purchasing it soon.

Is the tbolt in the 3rd picture by chance the one at Chapel and Farley?

I hope you get that Fedelcode. I've seen it in person and it would be nice to see it go into the hands of a "local" collector (I'm not sure how local you are, but you're close enough) than for it to rust un-used.

Yea, man! I'm hoping it's single phase, because then I could get a nice double recording of a Fedelcode and a 2001.

If I'm not mistaken, that 2T22 looks like a 2T22A from the motor.

You can also see three insulated conductors on the service drop with one uninsulated conductor for the neutral.
