How you check it?

Baldor probably has the values for the start/run capacitors. You will also need two contractors and a potential relay.

Oh boy, a single phase ACA. Better get some nice start and run capacitors, or at least ones better than ACA factory ones. Good luck with it!

We just removed the entire chopper/stator/armature as one assembly and put it in a press. Then you just press the shaft out the middle.

More update pictures...

Finally got it off its rotator base.

Also, the bolts have been a MAJOR pain to get out. Do they go all the way towards the chopper?

Yes, those bolts run all the way to the front of the stator. I've always used a little back pressure and an impact wrench to get them out.

FYI: there are 4 nuts behind the rotor that those tie rods are attached too.

Thanks a bunch for the help Jeb!
FS-Thunderbolt-Man wrote:Are you going to keep the P-10 in the garage or will you mount it outside and use it for tests and warnings?
Also to answer that, I most likely won't mount it anywhere near my house due to the fact I have a 2001-130 about 400 feet away from me. If I end up getting that Fedelcode from Priceville, I will donate it.
