Castle Castings is/was a metal casting foundry in England which built sirens in the 70's and 80's based on the basic design used by Carter & Co., Gents, and several other siren manufacturers from the 1930's.

Info on Siren It's a Allertor from Hoffman Estates IL number 7 which is a 3 phase dual tone with heaters for winter. IT was run on 480Volts. IT blew a Disconnect fuse and the motor fail a ohm test It was replaced than with a T-128. It has a Dorr motor. I will take it all apart and restore and fix the motor eventually

Very interesting that it had heaters on it. I'm also surprised that it's 480v.

Any clues as to what year it's from?

It's hard to imagine the size of an Allertor until you actually see one on the ground in person. I remember the first time I saw mine...I was blown away at the size of it. I tried to get it into my house but the lower intake portion would NOT fit through my doorway!!

Stand it up the right way, and you could have kept it in the room and used it as a chair.

I see you have a small organ next to the Allertor. I am an organist myself, and what brand is the organ? Is it an Allen?

The organ looks like a Yamaha with that lower row of lever-shaped stops, but I could be wrong.

The organ is a Baldwin Fantasia. It replaced a Baldwin D-911 which had not speakers or pedals The D-911 replaced a Yamaha Electone E-70 Which was nice but the amp went on it and could not get it fixed. The organ I want is the Ahlborn Galanti 3200.
