Thou art correct, sire.Notre.Dame1003 wrote:Technically speaking yes, anything before the -SRNB is an SRN, but for whatever reason people tend to call the older model with the non-exponential cone a DC. 2001-SRN refers the head, 2001-DC refers to if it's battery only (i.e no AC/DC rectifier), and 2001-AC refers to AC only (no battery box, just rectifier and FC).Westgate Thunderbolt wrote:I guess I am missing something with the questions. Aren't all of the 2001 heads under the SRN designation and run by DC motors?
So if you have an -SRNB that runs off of battery only, its "full name" would be 2001-SRNB-DC.
Someone feel free to correct me if I'm off on my facts.
AC-only: 2001-SRN (or SRNB or 130) + 2001-TR (transformer/rectifier) + FC
DC: 2001-SRN (or SRNB or 130) + Battery Cabinet + DCFCTB
