Yes, it was originally a single tone Thunderbolt when it was installed in Norman, OK but it was changed over to a 5/6 port 1000T during its restoration. Already have one single tone Thunderbolt in the county (The Rock's siren), and single tone Thunderbolts have a sound that's rather boring and don't have that attention-grabbing "bite" that the dual tone ones have. As for the ID plate, all two-signal Thunderbolts had "1000" in the type/model information field of the plate, regardless if they were single or dual tone. Only differentiation in models/types from that time period were 1000 or 1003, no "1000T" label yet.coastalsyrolover wrote:Let me guess...
