Re: Which countys have ACA Allertors?

Niles Michigan still has 3 Allertors in their city. They are controlled by the fire department. Every winter a different Allertor goes down for refurbishing. The fire department is hoping to get 10+ more years out of those things.

Try more like 30+. The third and final one was taken down last week.

I've seen an Allertor in Memphis at East High School and I've heard it was a gas powered allertor.
I know a lot of people would have known by now, but that was a converted from gas to electric Mobil Directo. ACA never made gasoline powered Allertors.

Correct. That siren was a gas powered Mobil Directo, but has been converted to electric. I can confirm one Allertor in West Point, but that is the only one.

The city of Cuba MO has two Allertors. Cuba is in Crawford county. Also the city of Nevada MO has at least two that I know of. Nevada is in Vernon county.

Not to sure if Arkansas had any to begin with.
Live's near a t-bolt when younger and was afraid of them, years later actively searches for them......Is there something wrong with me?

I'm pretty sure Jonesboro, AR has (had?) at least one.

Confirmed via Siren Archive:

That Allertor in Jonesboro is gone. I was able to confirm it with streetview from 2008 and satellite view.

I looked around on Google Maps checking street view at every railroad crossing until I found it.
