Federal Signal SiraTone

Wed Mar 26, 2014 2:12 pm

We have a federal signal siratone EOWS system and have been rebuilding the parts where necessary and I noticed the quiet test option on a manual I found here. Do any of you know anything about the quiet test part of this system? We have the connections for it but just no board so I was curious what all it consisted of. I wouldn't mind trying to get one put together but I cant find any info or pictures of it other than a brief mention of it in the manual and see the connections on the wiring diagram.

Thanks for any help,

Major

The quiet test sends power to the speaker drivers, it's just at a frequency so high pitched it's inaudible to humans.
