Another new E-Class

Fri May 09, 2014 5:56 am

Last week Oak Lawn had 1 additional E-Class siren installed on the roof of the village hall/main fire station. Looks like a nice install. Interesting to see it roof mounted.

Oh it is? Oh okay that explains a lot. Hard to see from the pic... Okay well... How much more reliable are these compared to ATI?

Do you honestly feel the need to respond to everything?!?! Can you please limit your posting to relevant items that add something quality to the discussion.

That being said, those Kingstar speakers tend to look pretty tacky, but that installation is sleek. I really like it and it looks pretty nifty.

For some reason seeing it on that building makes you realize just how big those speaker arrays are.

According to ASC, 121-128 Dbs at 100 feet, but I'm not sure how true that is.

ATIs have two layers of 4 horns, each facing east, west, south, & north.

They can be pretty loud, you're right.
The loudest is the p-50 I think.

ATIs and E-classes both can have four or eight horns. E-classes and have a different mounting style from ATIs.
