Re: The "Various Sirens" series and others

Mon Apr 28, 2014 6:22 am

Just got back a few hours ago from a weekend trip to Philadelphia. Visited upwards of 100 sirens on the way, with lots of new discoveries. I'll post photos tomorrow in a topic, but tonight you can see lots of new and updated locations from the trip on the Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania maps (along with a few I found while doing this update). Highlights will come with the photo part of this update.

Yakima washington has 2 thunderbolts. One is a jailbar the other is hornless.
Own and love a Thunderbolt 1000 and a Model 5.

I have many hobbies and interests. And I love them all.

It's highly unlikely I'll do a Missouri map any time soon. My maps cover niche areas - usually uncharted territory in terms of sirens. Missouri is anything but uncharted territory.

Thanks.

Missouri has great sirens.
Laclede where I live, has a thunderbolt. It used to have 3 or 4 2t22s, but they were removes in 2012-ish.

Now there's only 2001's, which I dislike very much. Their whiny voice. Uggh.

Talk about tardiness. Apparently my mother decided to hold back the photos until my AP exams were over...probably a good decision in retrospect.

Now that those are done, new photos have been added to the Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania maps. If you don't feel like randomly hunting for them or checking my messy excuses for update logs, I'll be posting a topic in the main board containing everything on the maps (and a little more) over the next few days.

Coming up next...the tour of tardiness continues with new PA locations from the Dave Fritz Files and the contributions above. Stay tuned!
