Fort Worth Replacement Sirens Installs

Tue May 20, 2014 10:38 pm

Here are some pictures from the two brand new Whelen Vortex units that replaced units that had been destroyed by cars. I wasn't able to get many pictures due to me being busy wiring up the control boxes and installing the radios, batteries as well as programming the logic boards.

The new sirens are fully installed and connected, then tested for proper functionality.

Nice work, I really like the look of concrete poles. Makes for a very clean looking installation.

Not only do they look clean, they make for easy wire pulling the need for a minimal amount of conduit.

I have all the parts.... the wind needs to knock it off so I can get up in the lift.

Despite not being one of my favorite sirens, the Vortexs' design has always blown me away. Awesome install!
