Good collection starter?

Fri Jun 06, 2014 4:32 pm

Hey guys, I can't seem to get started with a siren collection. What would be a good starter siren to go for? I'm not really looking for model a's or along those lines. I'm looking for something along the lines of a model 2,5,7or a screamer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It could also depend on type of machinery and space you have. Another big thing can be your experience of working with heavy objects and machinery. If you have cranes and tractors and build buildings, then you could probably handle a lot of different sirens. But fir the average person that does not have all of those things the bot Model 2s and Screamers woud probably work best.

A Model 2 would likely be best - they are small, common, and cheap compared to more powerful sirens.

If I were doing the collecting (which, thankfully, I'm not), I'd probably start there, move up to a Model 5/7, then to something with a rotator.
