Crazy Educational Video

Sun Jun 22, 2014 1:19 am

Was looking around YouTube and found this. We can all be educated now. The "Frisbee Tower"? "Mega Toot"? "Blasterific 9000"? "SuperToot"? But actually, she explains pretty well. Just had to chuckle. Have to wonder what the deal is. Look at the title and description. If I was guessing a stolen video. All of the videos on the site were uploaded recently.

That video was stolen from another person. The other person made up those names as a joke, I think. I'll see if I can find the original one.
EDIT: Here's the original video.

Personally, I don't like "Sirens of the future". My favorite kinds listed are is the "Blasterific 9000", and the "Megablaster".

She's from around here. That's Andy's yard up near Guthrie. Those Mods were from Moore and were replaced after the tornado. His pile of Thunderbolts is also growing so I'm tempted to see if I can buy some parts...

That is a very interesting video. The thing about the "Old School" and "New School" categories is she showed a 2001-130 as the covor photo for the "New School" but the way she described "New School" as only being electronic the 2001 is still "Old School". Though, still an interesting video, and of the made up names, my favorite is the "Frizbee® Tower".

Did you see the annotation for the 2001/new school siren? It said Oops not an actual electromechanical siren and that's exactly what the 2001 is.
My knowledge excels on the Federal Thunderbolt siren and SiraTone EOWS sirens. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Oh, I didn't see it. When I watched the original it was on my phone which does not have annotations.
But that is funny, I assume they mean electronic. :D

They fixed the annotation, it now says that it's an electromechanical. I never quite realized how huge the RSH-10 is before I saw this, or the Modulators...
